Dr. Laurie E. Locascio is the President & CEO of ANSI. She previously was the Under Secretary of Commerce for Standards & Technology and director of the National Institute of Standards & Technology. From 2017-2022, she was the vice president for research at the UMD College Park and the UMD Baltimore. She is a fellow of the NAE, the NAI, the AAAS, the ACS, and the AIMBE.
