Dameris is an Emmy Award–winning broadcaster for the Dallas Mavericks. He is color commentator for radio broadcasts and is TV analyst on pre- and post-game shows. He co-hosts the "Take Dat Wit You" podcast and writes for D Magazine. As Mavericks' Director of Basketball Development, he started the NBA’s first analytics department. He began his career in 1995 as the fifth employee at Broadcast.com.
