WIM KIDS is a wearable walking-assist robot developed as a child-focused version of the original WIM. Designed for children between 3ft and 5ft, it weighs only 990g and provides lightweight support for walking and physical activity. The device features replaceable leg modules that adjust to a child’s growth, ensuring continued usability over several years. Customizable covers allow children to express their preferences, while optional add-on modes such as riding, football, and running encourage diverse and enjoyable physical activities. WIM KIDS is ergonomically adapted for young users, promoting safe and natural movement. It also includes AI-based safety monitoring that tracks walking patterns and alerts for fall risk, providing additional confidence for families.
