RestroomGuard Savvy is a camera-free AI safety system for the Human Security for All , protecting dignity and access in sensitive public spaces such as restrooms, clinics, schools, and transit hubs. Using non-visual sensing—Time-of-Flight depth, acoustic emergency detection, and air-quality—it detects falls, screams, assault patterns, illicit-filming behaviors, suspected methamphetamine-use behaviors, smoke and tobacco air anomalies, fire indicators, vandalism, and prolonged occupancy. All inference runs 24/7 in real time on device; only anonymized event metadata is transmitted via mTLS to facility and PSAP systems for rapid response. No raw audio or raw depth is stored or uploaded. A field POC across 23 public restrooms with 127 units achieved Precision 0.9324, Recall 0.9510, and F1 0.9487. Designed for universal use, it supports accessible alerts—visual, auditory, and haptic—and advanced OTA fleet management. By protecting women, older adults, people with disabilities, and children, it strengthens community safety while preserving privacy and trust and dignity.
