Peanutcat Egg-1 was developed from years of rescuing and caring for abandoned or abused cats and tested with 19 cats. With 50% of cats living in multi-cat homes, obesity and related illnesses are common, especially in purebred cats with genetic conditions requiring customized feeding. Using RFID, it provides tailored meals based on each cat’s health, age, appetite, preventing overfeeding, underfeeding, and food stealing. It stores and dispenses up to 2 months of food and offers 11 innovations: app and instant analog controls, cat-specific feeding data logging, UV sterilization to prevent bacterial and parasite contamination (addressing incidents like the 2024 parasite-feed deaths), Guardian voice playback, easy-clean modular design, adjustable height, slow-feeder option, automatic lid closure, and side barriers. Testing achieved 100% healthy weight gain in underweight cats, safe weight loss in overweight cats, and reduced vomiting from 2–3 times daily to under once weekly. Its design integrates hygiene, safety, and convenience.
