Eco-C CUBE
Eco‑C CUBE is a high-strength structural block produced by directly extruding and molding hard-to-recycle plastic waste—such as fishing nets, buoys, agricultural films, and multilayer packaging—without washing or separation. These plastics, sourced from land and marine environments, are typically non-recyclable through conventional means. Using a proprietary “New-Cycling” process, the blocks are manufactured at low temperatures to preserve the polymer structure, resulting in superior tensile and compressive strength compared to concrete. Each kilogram of product reduces approximately 2.99 kg of CO₂ emissions, as officially verified by the SDX Foundation through LCA (Life Cycle Assessment). The technology was co-developed by WES‑Tec Global and the Korea Low Impact Development Association, a nonprofit under the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea. It was awarded the Silver Prize in the Advanced Engineering Infrastructure Solutions category at the 2025 Edison Awards for its innovation in sustainable construction materials.
