Planning for a Healthy CES® 2026

CES 2026 returns to Las Vegas January 6-9. As the proving ground for breakthrough technologies and global innovators, the world's most powerful tech event attracts huge and diverse audiences. The show's many floors are often bustling, and event days move very quickly. The pace is invigorating, and CTA wants to make sure every attendee is taking precautions for a safe and healthy CES.

To stay healthy while you're at the show, please take note of important safety information and a few best practices as you plan your trip to CES 2026.

Before You Leave Home

CES encourages you to:

  • Get your flu shot.
  • Vaccinate against COVID or update your booster status.
  • Test for COVID, and other infectious diseases specific to your region, and isolate if infected.

What to Expect At CES

 Venue Cleanliness & Precautions

  • Since 2020, CES official exhibit venues have been equipped with improved ventilation systems and fresh air flow.
  • The Las Vegas Convention Center, Mandalay Bay and the Venetian Expo have been awarded Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STARâ„¢ certification by ISSA. This accreditation means the properties are observing cleaning protocols and work practices that minimize risks associated with the spread of infectious diseases.
  • Again in 2026, CES will work to minimize surface touch points and increase fresh airflow at high-traffic areas.
  • Hand sanitization stations will be placed throughout CES venues.
  • Masks are available onsite. If you choose not to wear one, please respect those around you who do.

Exhibitor Best-Practices

  • Ensure your booth has plenty of hand sanitizer that is easily accessible.
  • Provide frequent booth and product cleaning. Regularly disinfect surfaces and wipe down high-touch items.
  • Have a plan in the event of illness among your team members while at CES.
